CUCKOO CLOCKS

This one day musical cuckoo clock has intricate carvings of three birds and a bird's nest. This unique German cuckoo clock has two small doors that open on the hour and the half hour. One door houses a hand-carved man and the other door is home to the cuckoo bird.
On the hour, the two doors open and the man and cuckoo bird come out of their respective doors. The cuckoo bird counts out the hours with a distinctive cuckoo bird call. On the half hour, the man and bird emerge briefly for one cuckoo bird call.

This cuckoo clock is powered by a Regula 30 hour all brass clock movement which is made in the Black Forest of Germany. The clock features the traditional brass pinecone weights hanging beneath the clock on brass chains. The clock is wound by raising the weights beneath the clock on its brass chains. One brass pine cone weight powers the cuckoo and cuckoo call time, one weight powers the music and dancers while the other pinecone weight powers the time. The clock dial and hands are made of wood with roman numerals marking the time. The musical and cuckoo bird sounds can be turned on and off by a switch located at the base of the clock.

We have used high quality digital photography to show you this model cuckoo clock in as much detail as possible. However, as with any hand-carved German cuckoo clock, the exact color and carvings may vary slightly. As with any hand created clock, it is the uniqueness of each piece that makes it a one of a kind heirloom timepiece. This clock is covered by a two year limited warranty covering workmanship and manufacturer's defects.
