CUCKOO CLOCKS

This whimsical clock is a unique twist from the Black Forest of Germany. This hand-carved owl shaped clock has a bird emerge from behind a swinging door in the case and call out time in the manner of traditional cuckoo clocks. However, in this clock a small hand-carved owl replaces the cuckoo bird behind the door. At the top of each hour and on the half hour, the door opens and an owl comes out to announce the time by its distinct hooting sound. There is one hoot for each hour of the day and one for every half hour.

This clock is powered by a quartz movement and so does not require winding of the clock to maintain the time. As with any cuckoo clock the pendulum continuously swings back and forth adding to the charm of the clock.

We have used high quality digital photography to show you this model cuckoo clock in as much detail as possible. However, as with any hand-carved clock, the exact color and carvings may vary slightly. As with any hand created clock, it is the uniqueness of each piece that makes it a one of a kind heirloom timepiece. This clock is covered by a two year limited warranty covering workmanship and manufacturer's defects.
