CUCKOO CLOCKS

This German quartz cuckoo clock is created in the traditional German style. There are three hand-carved birds, as well as a nest of baby birds and seven hand-carved maple leaves all decorating the clock case surrounding the wooden dial. At the base of the clock nestled among the hand carved leaves is the nest of baby birds. Above the clock face is the hiding spot for the cuckoo bird. On the hour and half hour the door swings open and out pops the cuckoo bird to call out the time. There is one distinct cuckoo sound for each hour of the day and one for every half hour.

Two cast iron pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two separate brass chains. The hand-carved and hand-painted pendulum continuously swings back and forth. This clock is powered by a quartz movement and so does not require winding of the clock to maintain the time.

We have used high quality digital photography to show you this model cuckoo clock in as much detail as possible. However, as with any hand-carved German cuckoo clock, the exact color and carvings may vary slightly. As with any hand created clock, it is the uniqueness of each piece that makes it a one of a kind heirloom timepiece. This clock is covered by a two year limited warranty covering workmanship and manufacturer's defects.
