A: Yes we have a full Cuckoo Clock Setup & care instructional booklet you can download. To download the instructional PDF click here.

Q: My clock is not working properly, how can I send it back for repairs?

A: Before sending your clock in for warranty repair, please check our Support Section for your problem. It may cases the problem is an easy fix.

Q: Are the videos on the site the actual videos you have in stock?

A: Yes, all of the videos are shot using actual clocks in the warehouse. As with many handmade items, the exact coloration and carving may vary slightly from clock to clock. We consider this to be a special part of their character, each clock truly is a unique piece of craftsmanship.

Q: What should I do if my cuckoo clock is running slow or fast?

A: If your cuckoo clock's timing should ever need adjustment, you can control the speed of your clock by sliding the maple leaf up or down the pendulum stick. Sliding the maple leaf down causes the cuckoo clock to run slightly slower, while sliding the maple leaf up makes the cuckoo clock run slightly faster.

Q: What is the difference between one day and eight day clocks?

A: The one day or eight day designation simply sets out the time interval between when you need to rewind the clock. One day clocks require that the cast iron pine cones be pulled the full length of the brass chains once a day. Eight day clocks are wound in the same manner, but only once every eight days.

Q: How often does the cuckoo bird make the cuckoo sound?

A: On every hour the cuckoo bird emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial and counts the hour by cuckooing once per hour. (Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times). On every half-hour the cuckoo bird emerges and cuckoos one time. (Example: At one thirty the bird will cuckoo once. At eight- thirty the bird will cuckoo once.)

Q: Is there a Warranty on the clocks?
