CUCKOO CLOCKS

This truly stunning German cuckoo clock has a magnificent case that features many hard carved leaves and animals. At the peak of the roof there is a large hand carved squirrel. Right below the squirrel there are 4 large hand carved leaves, 2 on each side of the clock dial. Towards the bottom of the clock case there are two smaller squirrels situated on either side of the clock dial with hand carved leaves below them.

There is a hand-carved maple leaf pendulum that hangs below the clock continuously swinging back and forth controlling the timing of the clock. The cuckoo clock is powered by a Regula 30 hour all brass clock movement which is made in the Black Forest of Germany. This clock features the traditional brass pine cone weights hanging beneath the clock on brass chains. This clock is wound by raising the weights beneath the clock on its brass chains. One brass pine cone weight powers the cuckoo and cuckoo call time while the other pine cone weight powers the time. The clock dial and hands are made of wood with Roman numerals marking the time.
